1. What does bittorent stands for and how does it work?
Bittorrents (a term synonymous with "torrents") work by downloading small bits of files from many different web sources at the same time. Torrent downloading is extremely easy to use, and outside of a few torrent search providers, torrents themselves are free of user fees.
Each peer who downloads/leeches the data also starts uploading/seeding them to other peers. On the network, a huge file is broken into pieces and the peer who is seeding seeds all the pieces, the leech starts downloading the file in pieces, and as each piece is downloaded the peer starts to seed them again. Thus as the leech increase the seed also increases.

3. What software do I need?

4. I have got the software, what is next?
The next step is to go to a torrent site and search for a file you want to download. Once you have found the desired file on the torrent site, click the "Download This Torrent" (or however they word it). If it doesn't open that way, just save the .torrent file to an easy to locate place. Then open your torrent client and use the "Open Torrent" feature.

5. Why is my downloaded file huge even though I only downloaded a small bit?
When BitTorrent starts, it allocates space for the entire file(s). That is what you see at startup as the progress bar moves across the screen and the disk drive goes crazy. The reason it does this is because it downloads the file in pieces, and those pieces arrive in an arbitrary order. Unlike http or ftp, which download the file from start to finish, BT downloads it in random order.
6. I have downloaded media file. How can I play it now?
You will need media player which supports a whole row of media file formats. We recommend you to choose a media player which is compatible with regular DVD,PAL, NTSC, VCD, SVCD formats and the entire range of MPEG4, including DivX, XviD, MPEG1, MPEG2, AVI, Real Media video, Quick Time files, WMV files, H.263, H.264, mobile video formats such as 3GP, 3GP2 and widely used MP4.
Some media players accept .iso file formats as well (for example VLC player). With Windows Media Player, if the appropriate codecs are installed on your computer, you can play audio content, video content, or both, that is compressed with a wide variety of codecs and that is stored in an .iso.

7. What players I shall use?
There are many players that you can use. Windows Media Player has a large number of features that may be required. .asf, .avi, and .wmv are the few video extension files that Windows Media Player will play without any problems. Also QuickTime, Winamp, DivX Player, media players can play all those audio/video file formats you may need. All of them are easy to use and guarantee excellent performance.
8. Which player plays downloaded DVD files VIDEO_TS.IFO and VIDEO_TS.BUP?

11. Movies don't have sound. What's wrong?
It appears that you don't have AC3 audio codec installed. If you are running Microsoft Windows 98SE/Me, 2000, XP, 2003 or Vista, please download and install codec pack from the Help section of the website (free of charge).

15. I cannot burn file with size more than 2 Gb. What to do?
When you burn a DVD, it is usually the ISO-9660 format which is used.Or the ISO-9660 format doesn’t support file which are more than 2 Gb.
If you try to burn a file which is more than this filesize:
-Some burning softwares won’t be able to do so.
-Others will be starting to burn but will fail during the burn process.
-And some will burn completely but the DVD will not be read.
Solutions:
To burn a file which is more than 2 Gb, use the UDF mode in your burning.
(In UDF mode, the maximal size of a file is from 18 446 744 709 551 616 bytes).
The UDF format is readable directly in some O.S.
(Except for Windows 95/98/ME and MACOS which will need a driver)
You can also split media-files using VirtualDub.
16. How do I handle .ISO file?
Iso files are frequently used to distribute CD or DVD images. For example if you download a popular Linux distribution what you'll most likely download is actually an iso file.
